The role

The Case Management Coordinator will provide case management services to unaccompanied and separated refugee and migrant children in Giza and Cairo governorates, Egypt. The role involves conducting individual assessments, drafting care plans, and ensuring proper data gathering and reporting.

What you'll do

  • Conduct individual assessment interviews and draft relevant forms to assess children’s needs
  • Support the Senior Child Protection Officer in providing full case management support to individual children
  • Ensure proper counselling of UASC on assessment procedures and services provided
  • Coordinate with the Senior CP Officer to ensure conducting Best Interest Assessments and Best Interest Determinations for identified children
  • Follow up on development and implementation of detailed care plans
  • Support the program teams as necessary

  • Bachelor of Psychology, Sociology, Development, Political Science, related studies
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in development/humanitarian aid
  • Previous experience in child protection programming is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, written and spoken
  • Awareness about the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees and migrants
