The role

The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) is creating a roster of expert consultants to provide advisory, technical, and analytical support for its 'Energy Transition for Green Growth and Prosperity' programme. Specialists will focus on carbon finance, carbon markets, MRV systems, and energy transition financing across the Asia-Pacific region.   • Deep expertise in Article 6 implementation, ETS design, and carbon market governance.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical data into practical policy recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
