The role
JCC Greater Boston is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and responsible Camp Counselors for their Tennis Camp programs, providing personalized instruction and guidance to young athletes.
What you'll do
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers
- Create a fun, joyful, and inclusive group dynamic
- Work in partnership with co-counselors and camp leadership
- Lead, co-lead, and support activities with campers and co-counselors
- Participate and support campers during swim times
- Support campers' social and emotional development
What it takes
- 10th grade (or equivalent) and eligible for work permit
- 1+ season of experience working with children
- 1+ season of tennis experience preferred
- Genuine enjoyment of working with children and helping them grow
- Strong safety awareness and communication skills
