The role

SEI’s Climate Corps Fellowship program offers a full-time, bridge-to-career opportunity to lead impactful climate and community resilience projects with McKinstry. Fellows will work on building commissioning projects, contributing to sustainability initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Support pre-functional and functional test development, witnessing, and documentation
  • Assist with review of construction documents and equipment schedules
  • Contribute to building performance investigations
  • Support commissioning plans, schedules, and site-specific reporting
  • Participate in field verification activities
  • Support existing building investigations

What it takes

  • Background in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering, energy management, facilities, or a related field
  • Basic familiarity with HVAC concepts and/or building automation systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Interest in building performance, energy efficiency, and sustainable operations
