The role
The Budget Management Associate will support the delivery of programme and project activities by entering and managing project data in UNDP’s corporate systems and providing day-to-day technical and financial support to project implementation.
What you'll do
- Supporting the Project Manager in putting together background information to assist in drafting project documents, work plans, budgets, proposals, etc.
- Providing timely creation of a project in Quantum and budget revisions for submission to Finance Resource Management Unit (FRMU)
- Updating the database of active development partners, donors, and private sector actors
- Providing financial administrative support for regular project board sessions
What it takes
- Secondary Education is required with specialized certification in accounting and/or finance
- University degree in Finance or Accounting is desirable
- Experience in the field of development for project management support is required
