The role
IDB Invest is seeking a Blended Finance & Structuring Solutions Consultant to drive financial development initiatives across Caribbean member countries. The consultant will collaborate with treasury and industry teams to structure blended finance solutions, facilitate local currency funding, and support sustainable infrastructure projects. What you'll do
- Develop product mappings aligning client needs with regional development imperatives.
- Provide structuring support for blended finance solutions to deploy up to $150 million in financing.
- Negotiate and execute local currency funding solutions in Barbados, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Trinidad and Tobago.
- Assist treasury and financial teams in establishing local currency infrastructure and sustainability funds.
- Identify and structure a pipeline of blended finance transactions for GCF-eligible countries.
What it takes
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in financial services and treasury management.
- Proficiency in English.
- Must be a citizen or legal resident of a Caribbean member country.
- No close relatives employed by IDB Group.
