The role
The Middle School Alliance (MSA) Bilingual Intake Specialist will provide recruitment and intake support, liaise with parents and support afterschool programming at assigned middle school sites.
What you'll do
- Support MSA Coordinator with students signing in and enforcing program and school rules
- Assist with snack distribution, dismissal procedures, and site transitions
- Support student recruitment and enrollment efforts
- Assist with family communication regarding programming schedules, attendance expectations, transportation updates, and special events
- Build and maintain positive relationships with youth and families
- Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, nonprofit management, public administration, social work, or a related field
- Up to 2 years of related experience
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Experience working with middle school youth, school communities, or after-school programming
- Experience with attendance tracking, data systems, and reporting processes
