The role
The AVP is a senior leader on Enterprise’s policy team focusing on supply-side housing policy, including tax policies, treasury programs, housing finance reform, and disaster resilience.
What you'll do
- Lead the development and execution of Enterprise’s federal supply-side policy agenda
- Lobby on statutory and regulatory policy priorities with government branches
- Serve as a point person for housing supply policy engagement across divisions
- Build and lead coalitions on priority policy efforts
- Develop internal and external communications content
What it takes
- Deep expertise in housing and community development policies, particularly LIHTC, CDFI Fund, Capital Magnet Fund, Housing Finance, CRA, energy, and disaster resilience
- Previous experience managing staff
- Federal government relations and policy development experience
- Experience working with Treasury, LIHTC, Action Campaign, tax policy space, housing finance, energy, and disaster resilience sectors
- Ten years relevant experience; graduate degree may be substituted for up to two years of experience
- Excellent communications skills including public speaking and media relations
