The role
Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Associate Vice President of Philanthropy will help lead The Humane League's Development department by overseeing its global donor relations work, including all one-to-one donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

- Oversee and expand THL's core philanthropy programs
- Generate over half of THL's annual fundraising revenue
- Support the continued growth of The Heart Beat (monthly giving)
- Shape fundraising strategy for a not yet-formed 501(c)(4) entity

- Strengthen individual donor relationships globally

- At least nine years of experience in non-profit fundraising
- At least three years of experience in a major gifts fundraising program
- Three years of experience managing staff and leading a team
