The role
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of designated projects in the Division of Market Development, Strategies and Policy for Trade and Investment (SPTI) Section at the International Trade Centre in Geneva.
What you'll do
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of assigned trade and investment policy related programmes/projects
- Monitor and analyze specific aspects of programme/project development and implementation
- Provide assistance for policy coordination and evaluation functions
- Assist in performing consulting assignments, including planning and facilitating workshops
- Contribute to the preparation of various written outputs
- Provide administrative and substantive support to workshops, trainings, consultations, and other meetings
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, or a related field
- A first level degree in the above subjects may be accepted with an additional two years of relevant professional work experience
- A minimum of two years (4 years with a first level university degree) of relevant experience in project/programme management, or related area
- Experience in trade and investment policy, with particular exposure to trade in services
- Experience in implementing technical assistance projects in relation to trade and investment policy in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Latin America
- Experience in proposal design and project development for trade-related technical assistance projects
