The role
The Associate Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support all aspects of projects/programmes/strategy related to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and related reporting requirements.
What you'll do
- Assist in collecting, maintaining, and analyzing various data for M&E activities
- File and compile reports for projects/programmes/strategy and keep track of reporting schedules
- Participate in specific monitoring and reporting exercises as assigned
- Conduct preliminary analysis of findings of monitoring and evaluation exercises
- Keep track of the status of indicators for the project/programme/strategy
- Provide administrative backstopping support for the Programme Officer (Migration & Climate Change)
What it takes
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Political or Social Sciences, Business or Public Administration, Law or a related field
- Experience in M&E and reporting in alignment with donor’s/UN requirements
- Experience in application of IOM/UN rules, regulations and procedures
- Experience with project development and donor liaison
- Fluency in English
- Working knowledge of another official UN language or any Pacific language is an advantage
