The role
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking an Associate Investment Officer to support business development and portfolio management in the Manufacturing, Agribusiness, and Services sectors in the Latin America and Caribbean region, based in Quito, Ecuador.
What you'll do
- Support or lead business development efforts across MAS in the country
- Actively develop a local network with target companies, financial institutions, financial advisors, and credit agencies
- Lead transaction execution and portfolio management activities
- Evaluate, structure, negotiate, and close new investment transactions
- Develop innovative and appropriate financial structures for complex transactions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, financial institutions, private sector partners, and multilateral organizations

- Master's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Strong financial, credit, and analytical skills
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese language skills an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior investment professionals
