The role

The ICRC is seeking an Associate External Engagement to support the Operations External Engagement Advisors in facilitating the Humanitarian Affairs (HAA) network and providing support to UN engagements in Geneva.

What you'll do

Support the Operations External Engagement Advisors in facilitating the Humanitarian Affairs (HAA) network
Ensure the Operational Engagement Knowledge Space is kept up to date
Support the team in developing the content and user experience of the platform
Provide substantive support to the review of operational updates shared by regions
Moderate HAA network Teams chats
Assist in the preparation of events for the HAA network

What it takes

Recent University Degree in related social and/or technical sciences
Up to two years of relevant professional experience
Experience in a humanitarian setting with civil society, the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement, or the UN
Prior exposure to UN and interagency fora and processes
Experience developing a webpage or other online tool
Verbal and written fluency in English; French a strong asset
