Associate Director of Organizing, NV Campaigns

The role

The Associate Director of Organizing, NV Campaigns is responsible for developing and executing a statewide organizing plan to engage and mobilize voters in Nevada. The role involves managing a team of Organizers, overseeing GOTV activities, and collaborating with leadership to ensure campaign goals are met. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the Nevada landscape and a commitment to equity.

What you'll do

• Design and implement a field plan to target, engage, persuade and turn out voters.
• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to strengthen organizing efforts and recruit volunteers.
• Supervise Organizers across the state and ensure program success.
• Build systems to analyze data and communicate key metrics to leadership.
• Maintain consistent communication with Organizers to build skills and mentor them.
• Act as a liaison between Organizers and senior leadership.

What it takes

• 2+ cycles of campaign organizing experience, including 2 cycles of staff management.
• Proficiency in VAN, GSuite, and relational texting platforms.
• Prior experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers in a culturally competent manner.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
