The role

The Associate Director of Development, College of Engineering and Applied Science is responsible for raising money and directing fundraising activities for the benefit of the UC College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS).

What you'll do

  • Qualify, build, and manage a portfolio of assigned donors and prospects
  • Cultivate and solicit emerging mid-level and major gifts
  • Work collaboratively with UCF colleagues
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with College of Engineering and Applied Science faculty, staff, and external relations personnel
  • Assist development officers, the Dean, and donors to develop proposals and gift agreements
  • Recruit and involve volunteers for college activities

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of progressively responsible major gift fundraising experience
  • Record of successful gift solicitation and closure
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
