The role

The Nature Conservancy is seeking an Associate Director, Agriculture Finance to support the expansion of global agriculture finance initiatives, focusing on innovative finance mechanisms to address conservation challenges and climate change.

  • Support the Director of Agriculture Finance to build a new global initiative
  • Collaborate with TNC global teams, TNC field teams, UNEP, WEF, and other partner organizations
  • Design and implement the new global agriculture finance initiative
  • Lead key projects and direct strategies within the global agriculture finance initiative

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years’ experience in a private sector environment or with a leading conservation organization or government entity
  • Experience developing and implementing complex projects and strategic initiatives
  • Experience leading and managing large scale projects
  • Experience negotiating complex agreements
  • Experience working with sustainability and finance issues in the agribusiness sector
  • Outstanding analytical and project management capabilities
