The role
Assist in overseeing quality of care within Adolescent Programs/Services and manage primary/family/group therapy operations. This role involves clinical supervision, communication with patients' family members, coordination with outside providers, and community outreach.
What you'll do
- Assist Program Director in overseeing quality of care within Adolescent Programs/Services
- Working closely with Compass’ Center of Excellence team in oversight, implementation and continued development and refinement of program material and group curriculum
- Oversee and manage primary/family/group therapy operations
- Perform and support other clinical roles as needed including primary and family therapy
- Provide clinical supervision for staff working towards licensure
- Communicate with patients’ family members or support system, as needed
What it takes
- Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist, Masters Level Clinician with independent clinical license, or a postgraduate degree in a healthcare field
- Knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing CBT, ACT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
- Experience with patients in crisis
- Experience supervising mental health workers, both licensed and seeking licensure
- Excellent time management skills, ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
