The role
The Associate Capacity Building Officer will contribute to implementing capacity building and knowledge management projects, focusing on designing learning tools and platforms for UNHCR staff engaging with development actors.
What you'll do
- Facilitate the development of learning tools (onboarding package, community of practice, e-Learning)
- Design and develop learning tools and platforms
- Collaborate with technical sector specialists to design webinars and masterclasses
- Support the launch of CoLAB Programme
- Support the production of regular Partnership in Practice bulletin
- Support the development of Peer-exchange learning opportunities
What it takes
- University Degree in Law/International Law, Public Policy/Social Science, Development, Economics, International Relations or related field
- 3 years relevant experience with Undergraduate degree; 2 years with a Graduate degree; 1-year with a Doctorate degree
- Previous experience in capacity building support is essential
- Strong experience with web and video editing, as well as familiar with Canva
- Experience in developing training materials, organizing or facilitating workshops
- Excellent drafting and writing skills
