Assistant Teacher I
The role
The Assistant Teacher will assist in the instruction of preschool-aged children by promoting social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth within a Head Start classroom. Responsibilities include supervising children, planning daily activities, maintaining classroom safety, and building strong partnerships with families. The role requires ensuring compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and supporting the lead teacher in daily operations.
