The role
The Assistant Education Officer will support the roll-out of Refugee Education 2030, providing technical support for education programs in collaboration with UNHCR Country Office(s) and partners.
What you'll do
- Translate global education objectives into regional or national guidance strategies
- Engage and promote partnerships with national education stakeholders
- Provide technical advice on UNHCR education programs
- Support senior management in advocacy activities related to education programs
- Participate in national humanitarian and development sector working groups
- Assist in the planning and coordination of UNHCR's role concerning education

- 1 year relevant experience with an undergraduate degree; or no experience with a graduate degree; or no experience with a doctorate degree
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and drafting skills
- Experience in education program implementation and coordination in humanitarian and/or development contexts
- Knowledge of English and French, fluent in French
