The Assistant - Education will support the implementation of a project aimed at improving children’s learning outcomes and well-being through reading habits, hygiene practices, and school-community engagement.
What you'll do
- Supporting the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of project activities
- Assisting in functionalizing Supplementary Reading Material (SRM) corners
- Establishing and monitoring school-based hygiene corners
- Facilitating Teachers’ Learning Circle (TLC) sessions
- Supporting literacy promotion activities
- Contributing to parent and community engagement initiatives
What it takes
- At least 1 year of working experience in a relevant field with experience in educational materials development
- Basic knowledge of primary education, child-centered learning, reading promotion, effective library/SRM corner management, healthy hygiene practices
- Strong interest in education, literacy, child well-being, and community engagement
- Good communication skills in Bangla and English
- Proficiency in developing educational materials in Bengali and English
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
