The role

The Oakland Housing Authority is seeking an Assistant Director of Information Technology & Operations to manage complex IT networks and systems for a public housing agency, fostering a collaborative work environment and effectively representing the IT Department across the organization.

What you'll do

What it takes

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field
• At least four years of experience managing complex IT networks and systems for a public housing agency
• At least eight years of information technology management experience in an upper-management position with an affordable housing agency
• Bilingual skills in ASL, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and/or Spanish are highly desirable
• ITIL Foundation-level certification or higher in IT Service Management
