- Contributes to improving the quality, consistency, and interoperability of disaster loss and damage data across national systems.
- Supports capacity development of partners through technical assistance, training activities, and user support on disaster-related statistics and reporting tools.
- Compiles, cleans, and tabulates disaster-related data and metadata from official sources.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in data sciences, statistics, economics, disaster risk reduction, information science, computer science, management information systems or related field
- Experience in data analysis, data monitoring, disaster risk reduction, socio-economic development, or other related area
- Experience working with the United Nations Common System or international organizations is desirable
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; French proficiency is desirable
