The role
The incumbent will advise the supervisor on all matters related to the Field Budget, including planning, managing and monitoring day-to-day operations; reviews and checks the accuracy of Programme Budget and External Grants estimates; verifies and confirms availability of funds required and raises necessary transactions for budget allocation.

- Advises supervisor on all matters related to the Field Budget including assisting in planning, managing and monitoring day-to-day operations; drafts correspondence and prepares reports and statements related to his/her functions including reports on issues and desired improvements together with recommended solutions.
- Reviews and checks the accuracy of Programme Budget and External Grants estimates as requested; drafts related adjustments and reports according to the Agency Finance Technical Instructions; guides and trains the staff under her/his supervision and reviews their work.
- Verifies and confirms availability of funds required and raises the necessary transactions for budget allocation.
What it takes
- A university degree from an accredited educational institution in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Four years' experience in a finance, budgeting or accounting office of a governmental, international, or commercial organization with an emphasis on a computerized working environment is required.
- English and Arabic are the required languages at UN Level II.
