The role
The Assessment Officer will support the implementation of the Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA), contributing to data collection, analysis, and the production of assessment outputs, while coordinating with Clusters, Working Groups, and other humanitarian stakeholders.

- Support the research design, data collection, data analysis, and output and dissemination phases of the research cycle
- Conduct secondary data and literature reviews
- Support the development and adjustment of data collection tools and data analysis plans
- Conduct data collection training sessions and ensure data quality checks
- Support the drafting of timely and accurate outputs
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in process in a sphere of social science
- Prior working experience in research and/or drafting of analytical products
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working with local authorities and/or NGOs in a humanitarian/development context
- Experience using Adobe products (InDesign in particular)
- Proven knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
