The role
The Area Support Manager position in South Sudan is responsible for providing support to relevant programs and ensuring that all support functions run efficiently across the area office and its sub-offices.
What you'll do
- Line management responsibilities for directly reporting staff
- Compliance with and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and donor/auditor requirements
- Facilitate the Area Office support functions’ strategic input to the development of the Country Strategy and Plan of Action
- Provide input on operational support in proposal development, and coordinate and align operational support with programme plans
- Responsible for ensuring quality support to project implementation
- Facilitate the Master Budget, area level budgets and BPO development, including assess and monitor costs and resource allocation needs

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior management position in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Proficient in financial systems and software
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, audit requirements, and internal control systems
- Experience working in complex and volatile contexts
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
