The role
This position is responsible for providing overall leadership and management for Area Programs, ensuring quality ministry through coordination with partners and staff.
What you'll do
- Ensure the quality of ministry in AP area by managing and coordinating AP staff
- Develop and implement AP Annual Operating Plan
- Coordinate revision of plans and budgets in response to monitoring, reflection and learning with the community and the program team
- Ensure that programs effectively integrate all aspects of disaster management and advocacy into long term development process
- Ensure capacity building of all program staff
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Business Administration, Rural development, social studies or any related field
- Complete Project Management for NGO course
- Minimum of 5 years Coordinator experience in Programme/project with a thorough understanding of all areas of project management cycles
- Demonstrated track record in proposal development, funding acquisitions and grant management for major government donors preferred
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Applicants are encouraged to provide (upload) TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent certification as evidence of English proficiency
- Willingness to work outside office hours especially when traveling and working with sponsor/donor visits to the area program(s)
