The role

The Analyst Territorial Project will support the implementation of the BioSur project in coordination with national government entities, environmental authorities, and local governments to strengthen sustainable management of forest fires, regenerative ecosystem restoration, and climate change adaptation.

What you'll do

  • Coordinate strategic, project management, and institutional articulation activities.
  • Support the coordination, financing, and implementation of territorial projects in the BioSur corridor (Nariño and Alto Putumayo).
  • Lead technical support for the team in Nariño, guiding field activity planning, execution, and monitoring.

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, Forest Engineering, Climate Change, Risk Management, Sustainable Development, or related fields.
  • Experience in project implementation and/or coordination of environmental projects, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, in the Nariño department.
  • Experience in participatory processes with local communities, indigenous peoples, and territorial organizations.
