The role

NPR is seeking an intern to collaborate with the AI Labs and Research, Archives & Data Strategy teams to develop ethical AI workflows for journalistic content. The role involves building prototypes to surface historical audio, preparing archival data for machine learning, and ensuring technical outputs align with editorial integrity. This position offers the opportunity to shape the intersection of generative AI and public media through both technical and archival research.
