The role
The Agribusiness Development and Marketing Specialist will provide technical support to the overall implementation of the project, with particular focus on livelihoods restoration and diversification.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement tools for profiling and validating beneficiaries, Women-Led Organizations (WLOs)
- Conduct focused market and value chain analyses
- Lead training needs assessments and design and facilitate training sessions
- Assist community-based organizations in developing business plans
- Support the development and improvement of value-added products
- Establish and strengthen market linkages
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural, Economics, Business Management or Marketing
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Full proficiency / working knowledge (level C) of English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino
- General knowledge and skills in the use of standard software, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
