The role
Plan International Brasil is seeking a Junior Community Development Agent for a temporary position in São Luís, Brazil, to strengthen the relationship between the organization and supported communities, ensuring the quality of sponsorship communications and contributing to the achievement of institutional commitments.
What you'll do
- Ensure new child registrations are completed according to institutional procedures and deadlines, adhering to the agreed quantity for the Program Unit
- Ensure family letters for sponsored children meet quality standards and deadlines
- Proactively capture situations of child protection and safeguarding from field data (letters, forms, or conversations), reporting within 24 hours and following up according to the complexity of each case
- Contribute to the promotion of project and activity implementation of Plan International in all communities of their area of operation, addressing family doubts
- Coordinate and follow up on sponsor visits that occur in the communities of their area of operation
- Identify community leaders and key individuals, strengthening the relationship between Plan and the community through meetings, conversations, and sensitization
