The role
The Advisor, Strategy Development supports the development and evolution of the Global Fund’s six-year Strategy, providing strategic analysis, process design, and project management to ensure the Strategy development process is rigorous, inclusive, and effectively delivered.
What you'll do
- Provide strategic vision and design key components of the Strategy development process
- Oversee and project manage key Strategy development process steps
- Lead the development of effective background documents and materials to support decision-making
- Supervise the work of junior team members on key workstreams
- Develop presentations and lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead the drafting of Board and Committee presentations and papers
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in business administration, public health, international development, or a related field
- Relevant work experience, ideally within an international organization
- Experience in providing strategic direction, design, and execution of strategy and/or policy development processes
- Experience project managing complex projects and multi-stakeholder processes
- Experience in leading the development of effective materials to guide senior stakeholder decision-making
- Experience in leading the development of high-quality presentations, background papers, and reports
