The role
As the Advisor, External Reporting at Save the Children, you will collaborate with various units within and outside the department to promote clarity in audit and tax processes, support external financial reporting, and manage the external engagement cycle for the organization.

- Develop agency level financial reporting packet based on external reporting requirements
- Support the preparation of the draft Negotiated Indirect Cost Rate Agreement with our cognizant agency
- Manage the prepared by client list for annual audits
- Coordinate monitoring checklist and any recommended actions

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in accounting and finance
- Experience with US Government rules, regulations, and guidance
- Experience supporting audit processes
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
