Adult Education Teacher
The role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking an Adult Education Teacher to provide rigorous ESL instruction to newly arrived refugees and immigrants. The role involves teaching classes focused on daily life skills and job readiness, alongside student assessment and administrative record-keeping. The successful candidate will also supervise interns and collaborate with the Adult Education team to track student progress. This is a short-term position requiring a commitment to learner-centered, culturally responsive teaching strategies.
