The role
Wexford Rape Crisis is seeking an Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapist to provide individual counselling services to young people aged 12 years and upwards and parental support. The position is a 14-month contract, 2 days per week, based in Wexford town.
What you'll do
- Provide individual counselling services to young people aged 12 years and upwards
- Offer support counselling to a partner, family member or friend
- Provide parental support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Attend regular supervision and training sessions
What it takes
- Accredited qualification in counselling/psychotherapy
- Relevant qualification in Adolescent counselling
- Minimum 2 years counselling experience
- Experience of providing one to one counselling to young people aged 12 and upwards
- Experience of providing Parental Support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, report-writing and data entry
