The position involves cleaning and maintaining the hygiene of the office and its surroundings, including preparing common areas, managing cleaning supplies, and ensuring the office is clean and organized.
What you'll do
- Ensure the cleanliness of all individual and common rooms of the base
- Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the courtyard and outdoor spaces of the base
- Stock and equip common or private rooms with hygiene materials (bins, toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.)
- Prepare tea and coffee for office personnel and/or visitors
- Prepare requisitions for cleaning and washing supplies for the office facilities
- Ensure daily cleaning of the office and furniture within it
- Regularly collect, sort, and evacuate waste from the office to designated collection points according to hygiene and safety rules
- Manage cleaning supplies under the supervision of the direct supervisor
- Report to the direct supervisor any need for replenishment of supplies or materials, as well as any malfunctions or unusual situations observed in the office or outdoor areas of the base
- Ensure that no unauthorized persons (other than cleaning staff, cooks, and expatriates) enter the office
