AERA 2027 Annual Meeting

About the event

The main yearly meeting for education researchers, from university faculty to staff at research nonprofits and think tanks. Graduate students and researchers use it to present work and meet hiring universities, research firms and foundations.

Who's hiring in Canada

10 open Research & Evaluation or Education & Training roles in Canada on ForGood. These organizations are hiring for the kind of work this event covers, so they are good people to look for there.

Make it count

• Look through the organizations hiring in your field before you go, and pick a handful you most want to meet.
• Go to sessions where those organizations are speaking, and ask a question. Speakers remember the people who ask.
• Follow up within two days of meeting someone. A short note that mentions what you talked about is enough.
• Many events have discounted or volunteer places for students and people between jobs. Check the official site.
