What we do
ForGood collects open roles from nonprofits, NGOs, foundations, social enterprises, schools and universities, and the UN system and other international organizations, and puts them in one place. Right now that is about 16,885 open jobs at 4,956 organizations, across 12 kinds of work.
Most job boards are organized by keyword. ForGood is organized by the work itself: every role is tagged with a category, so you can browse policy and advocacy, programs, fundraising, health, education or climate jobs without wading through unrelated listings.
Where the listings come from
We read jobs directly from organizations' own careers pages and applicant-tracking systems, and
from a small number of nonprofit job boards that publish feeds. Organizations are added one at a
time after checking that their work is mission-driven; we never import a hiring platform
wholesale. We respect each site's robots.txt and only read pages it allows.
Each posting is summarized and classified automatically (category, seniority, location, salary where the posting gives one) so that it can be filtered and searched. Closed roles are removed when their original posting disappears. Summaries can contain mistakes, so every listing links to the original posting, and the employer's own page is always the source of truth.
What else is here
- Email job alerts: new roles in the categories and countries you choose, daily or weekly.
- Resume matching: rank open roles against your resume, entirely in your browser.
- Conferences & events: sector events, linked to the open roles in each field.
Who runs it
ForGood is run by ForGoodJobs. It is free for job seekers and is supported by advertising. We are not a recruiter or an employer: we don't take applications, and we don't charge organizations to be listed.
